Your money stays yours
There are two separate flows of money here, and only one of them is ours. Summit Captain charges your club a per-member platform fee once a year — that is the whole of what you pay us.
Membership dues and activity fees are a different matter entirely: your members pay them through your club's own Stripe account, so the funds land in your club's bank account and never touch ours. You keep the payout schedule, the refund policy, and the books.
No card is required to set up. Build your roster, publish your first activities, and stand up your club website first — you subscribe when the roster is ready.

Billing questions
Who processes our members' dues?
You do. Membership dues and activity fees are charged through your club's own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to your club's bank account and never passes through Summit Captain. The per-member platform fee is billed to the club separately.
What counts as a billable member?
Anyone on your active roster. The count follows the roster automatically and reconciles as people join, renew, and lapse — there is no seat count to remember to update.
What if members join mid-year?
They are added to the subscription under a proration policy, so you pay for the part of the year they are actually members rather than a full year up front.
