Members: Managed

One roster, one lifecycle. A guest signs up, attends their qualifying events, gets vouched for, and your board approves them into full membership — nobody re-keys a spreadsheet along the way. Skill levels and assessments, park passes like the Discovery Pass, dues and renewals all live on the same profile, so leaders can see who is ready for which trip at a glance.

  • Guest-to-member lifecycle with board approval
  • Skill levels and assessments
  • Park pass tracking and renewals

Create & Collaborate

Build the season together. Vetted volunteer leaders schedule typed activities, split them into groups by skill level, and set the registration window that suits the trip. Members reach the board and coordinators by role — without a public roster being exposed — and afterwards the trip's photo gallery respects each member's own consent settings, with moderation before anything goes up.

  • Groups organized by skill level
  • Vetted volunteer leaders
  • Message the board without a public roster

Automation: Enabled

The jobs nobody volunteers for run themselves. Trips fill to capacity and roll into a waitlist, and when a spot opens, members are promoted ahead of guests automatically. Bus seats come out of a fair rotation lottery that puts the least-recently-boarded first, with carpool overflow from volunteer drivers — you allocate incrementally as registrations land, then lock it in and the rotation ledger updates itself.

  • Capacity limits with automatic waitlists
  • Members promoted ahead of guests
  • Fair rotation lottery for bus seats

All-In-One

One vendor instead of five. Your club gets a hosted website on its own subdomain — or your own custom domain — with maps, GPX tracks, safety documents and trip resources built in. Dues and activity fees are collected through your club's own Stripe account, so the money stays yours, while Summit Captain bills you simple annual per-member pricing and reconciles the roster automatically.

Built for the trailhead, not just the desk

Summit Captain installs to a phone like an app and caches the day's trip sheet before anyone leaves the parking lot. Out where there are no bars, leaders still have the participant list, groups, seat and carpool assignments, and the safety notes for the route. Attendance, photo galleries, and roster changes sync back the moment you are in range again — nobody has to remember to type it up on Monday.

Questions clubs ask first

What does Summit Captain cost?

CAD $2 per member per month and $1 per guest, billed annually to your club. The count follows your active roster, so it reconciles automatically as people join, renew, and leave.

Do we need our own Stripe account?

For the money you collect, yes. Membership dues and activity fees are charged through your club's own Stripe account, so the funds land in your bank account rather than ours. The per-member platform fee is billed to your club separately.

Can we use our own domain?

Yes. Every club gets a hosted website on its own subdomain from day one, and you can connect a custom domain whenever you are ready.

Is our member list public?

No. There is no public roster. Members contact the board and coordinators by role, so people reach the right volunteer without anyone's details being published.

What happens when a trip is full?

Registration rolls into an automatic waitlist, and when a spot opens, members are promoted ahead of guests. For bus trips, seats come out of a fair rotation lottery that puts the least-recently-boarded members first, with carpool overflow from volunteer drivers.

Ready to bring your club online?

Set up your roster, your first trips, and your club website before you pay a cent. Simple per-member pricing, and your dues keep flowing through your own Stripe account.
